How Do I Use Microsoft Project To Manage An Hourly Project Plan?

I have a two part question regarding Microsoft Project 2003:
Part I: I am tracking a plan that is an hourly plan over the course of five days. How can I get time to show up as a column? Within the Gant Chart, I can move a task over to a specific time; yet, I haven’t been able to display or enter a time (like I can with a date). I have done it graphically, which isn’t always seemingly accurate. I am going down to a 15-minute increment.
Part II: I want to print a report by resource of what needs to be accomplished for a specific day. Once again, time is important to me. I would like to have a report for John Doe with X tasks and each of the tasks to show the start and end time. What is the easiest way to create this report?
I thank everyone in advance for their feedback. -CHESS

  1. O'Sulliv says:

Try right clicking on the timeline at the top of the Gantt chart. You’ll find options for setting three levels of time increments. Choose the smallest time increments you can and you should be able to do what you want.
